I can't wait to watch great films like this with my kid. Really funny from start to finish! :D

You can't wait to start playing with Transformers again, either, right?

everyone at work has seen a ripped version but i want to go to the flicks to see it so i'm having to sit with my fingers in my ears to stop them from ruining it

I'm not one of those people who think things like Transformers, Thundercats and Dangermouse were the best things ever. There are people who wear DM or Transformer t-shirts around university. ARGH they think it's cool....... TWATS!

Venom

Ok, but for real...Thundercats are cool.

MattHiggs

No they're not. If it was on now and you were watching it for the first time you'd probably think it was crap.

I hope people in 10 years time don't go around wearing Power Ranger t-shirst and remmenis on how the pink one was cool.

You must at least admit that Voltron is cool.

King_Ghidra

we've never had voltron here in the uk

Venom

No wonder you're all worthless twats.

I had mine well over a year ago, ages before everyone started wearing them.

except that can't be true because you bought the t-shirt from a shop, where presumably they also sold said t-shirt to other people

I didn't say ages before anyone started wearing them.

Mine was a crappy illegal copy, not one of these multi coloured Hasbro (tm)ed ones that you get in HMV. :)

Dangermouse is pretty cool.

Presumably, the university students got those T-shirts before they went to the uni... so they got those shirts when they thought they were cool. (12, 13, etc). Or they got them as gifts from there folks who thought they were still into them (16, 17). And being uni students, they cannot afford trivialities like new shirts. ;)

Sean

No, they buy them now because they think they are cool now.

Darkstar

I liked Danger Mouse.

Now, how did you not get Voltron? There a staple of pitiful anime series. They get shown a lot on cheap TV stations around here. There's several versions of the Big V. Think animated Power Rangers with less story, less acting, and only 2 frames per second, and you are getting about in the right range for the various Voltron series. ;)

Transformers were pathetic
Robotech, on the other hand...

Venom

That just confirms how good the Transformers were.

King_Ghidra

The UK didn't get Robotech either.

We did get G-Force/Battle of the planets, that was my favourite.

Debaser

That was my favourite too. The chick in the pink and white outfit was a fox.

Darkstar

She was a dove! ;)

I loved Battle of The Planets as a kid. However, it's been re-released in the States several times since, and each time they've given it entirely different plots. Those just seem odd to me when I see them. Oh well, I suppose the new wee ones that see those will think the others are odd. ;)
