Out today i think.

If only i hadn't spent 120 in HMV yesterday i'd be rushing out to buy this. I loved the first max payne, if this one is anything like it then i will be a happy happy man.

What format is it out on, PC ?

Apparently this one is just as short as the first, which was kind of disappointing. I think I'll like it though, as long as any dream levels are avoided.

Those dream levels we're awful, following the baby's screams as the walls moved was eerie.

I liked the atmosphere they provided, but DAMN they were annoying.

yeah, unsettling, but also shit and annoying

Venom i can't say i found the first too short. I thought it trod a very acceptable line avoiding both excessive difficulty and excessive repetition.

I suppose it's nice they didn't strech it too much and turn it into a a thin excuse for a story line. Even Half-Life did that with those stupid ass alien levels.

I read that they changed bullet time now. When you're in bullet time and you kill enemies Max will actually move faster. Even more like the Matrix.

hmm...well i liked the old bullet time, hope they don't fuck it up
