I love the song 'Release The Pressure'

One of the most atmospheric songs I've ever heard.

Well most parts of it.

Leftism is one of THE defining albums of the 90s, absoloutely brilliant, still sounds fresh now almost 10 years later. It really defined the genre.

Ryhthm and Stealth is not nearly so good, but there are a couple of cracking tracks on there. Would be very interested if there was another album on the way though.

dubnobasswithmyheadman by Underworld was another defining techno album for me.

I loved Born Slippy and still do, it's probablt my fave song on the genre.

dubnobasswithmyheadman isn't much like Born Slippy, it's softer. Good though, worth checking out.

You might like these as well:
- "Finley's Rainbow" and "The First Breath" by A Guy Called Gerald
- "Halcyon On & On" and "Blue Illusion" by Orbital
- "Euphoria" and "īTake Me To Heaven" by Baby D

I'm sticking to my Derrick May boxset, thank you. Not particularly impressed by either Leftism or dubnobasswithmyheadman. And no, I'm not willing to pop a few Es to get in the right mindset.

You don't need to do that for either of those albums. I thought you liked Underworld?

Underworld's decent, saw them live at the Roskilde Festival '00. One of the best concerts I've ever been to. When we in a good mood returned to the main festival area, eleven young people had been squeezed to death, quite macabre.

Orbitals - Girl with the Sun in her Hair is a cracking track too, again another piece (like the Underworld ones MikeH mentioned) that you don't have to be tripped out to enjoy.
