Still a relatively low quality version, but better than nothing. No clue when the annual official (not so) fullscreen one will be released.

Try your best not to get too hyped up about it. I know I will try. :cute:

EDIT:

High quality version (http://progressive2.stream.aol.com/newline/gl/newline/lordoftherings/ReturnOfTheKing/returnoftheking_nl480_dl.mov) now available on the official site.

MPEG version here (http://basisgemeinde-frankfurt.de/zeugs/ROTK_fullscreen.zip).

Hasn't this been out for quite some time? Or is this a new one?

AFAIK this one was released a couple of hours ago. There was an even lower quality one that had a lot of Chinese symbols in it that has been around a few days. But besides that I know of no trailers for RotK.

Hmm .. OK. I definitely downloaded a high-quality one (with no chinese stuff) from download.com a couple of weeks ago. I'll get this one anyway just in case it's new. :D

Gotta love Gollum's grin after Sam confronted him. Awesome. :D

Watched it, only 24 hours later.

It’s good. Nice music.

Mightytree

What's he doing?

Elrond should appear at the end for the wedding I believe. Haven't got around to watching this yet so I don't know exactly what IW is referring to.

we'll see more of him than just the wedding, with Arwen in added scenes : Arwen's choice for mortality (dragging for now the 3 episodes), the re-forging of Elessar sword, etc.

Ah.

Well, I've decided to become a bit wiser and simply don't care any more about stuff PJ changes or adds. Should make the movie a lot more enjoyable. :)

yep, that's the right attitude :D
a straight translation of book to screen wouldn't really work anyway, the tempo of each is too different

you have to give credit to PJ for his changes : although I don't agree with some of them, I acknowledge his genuine knowledge of the book (he has obviously worked on it a lot) and his respect for it.

Pajamas?

Bah. Elrond giving Narsil to Aragon had better be a flashback. :(
