Got this one over the weekend. A prime example of more of the same, with just a little different and extra to warrent a new name. At least you start the game with a lightsaber this time. Speaking of starting the game, the character creation tool blows. You get 5 characters to choose from. But hey! You also get to choose what shirt and pants you wear.

I can do worse.

And 100-0 for that completely expected, and ripped off response.

couple of my cowies have bought this. One of them is a little unimpressed, says the graphics aren't much of an improvement over the previous version, and contrary to venom's comment finds it too easy because you get the lightsaber straight away.

I firmly belong to the camp that enjoyed battling through the previous one to get the lightsaber (as discussed at length in a thread a long time ago in a galaxy far far away), but i expect by hook or by crook i'll be playing this, because i did really enjoy JKII

get KOTOR, K_G, it's worth it, no saber juggling act but a very enjoyable RPG

The lightsaber is the only thing in the Jedi Knight games that make it stand out from every other FPS. Best to just get to it. Besides, it appears as though they've toned down the blocking effectiveness (at least in the early levels) so you're no where near invincible, though the game is pretty easy. Especially if you give yourself Force Heal.

yeah the guy at work took force heal, he said he thought that was what was making it so easy.

Maroule: i certainly will - but i've got many games on the go at the moment and i want to clear the decks a bit before i buy
