I've welled up when watching films before but this film is rediculous. I'm still crying now. The missus and I were openly bawling at the end.

Great way to spend a Friday night in. I knew we should have rented Eight Legged Freaks instead.

terrible, terrible film. utterly cynically manipulative, utterly uninvolving for the same reason. One of the only films i 've wanted to walk out on at the cinema.

a real let down from lars von triers

and the singing bits were shit

I own the soundtrack, didn’t like the film.

I've never seen the film, but the soundtrack is very good. I'd buy a CD of Bjork burping the Icelandic national anthem though, so I'm not sure my opinion on this is too objective.

quite manipulative indeed
but still, Tries achieves what he was looking for
I bought the DVD but I doubt I'll see it a second time

I wouldn't put myself through it again. You have to see it though. Bjork's acting is as tender and sexy as her music is.
