I received 14 Win32.SoBig.F today.

Someone else is targetting one of my mail accounts, sending me about 3 viruses a day (from the same IP...)

Oh lovely.

Email the ISP, that way they can terminate the mail being sent to your account and notify the idiot on the other end that he's infected.

AAArrgh... I got out for 5 hours... and and... the viruses are coming faster than I can get rid of them.... the amount of fucking fruit-cakes that get themselves infected is ridiculous!!!

Get rid of using MS outlook as that's what will cause norton and even AVG to scream you have infected mail. Use some free client or direct it all to a yahoo or hotmail, etc. account and view from the browser, so then your AV won't go off nearly as much and what you don't recognize or see attachments to, you can just delete without having a warning pop up on every single action you do.

or more simply turn-off the scan email option. I knew viruses were coming in so it didnt matter.

Yeah, you can do that... but then when a friend who's infected sends you a file, your screwed.

no, the virus checker would still stop you executing it, I just turned off the specific email clean function to speed up what would have turned into a 3 hour process....

If you're on Outlook (maybe Outlook Express) you should be able to set up a rule to delete anything with a certain subject or message body fragment. I've got this for the clowns who change their email addresses regularly, but still try sending me printer supply emails. Now I still get them, but I never see them :)
