Foo Fighters 'Low' (I hate this video, but I'm merely indifferent to the others)

Sum 41 (Based on their performance at that Metallica tribute concert)

Muse (best of a poor bunch)

Red Hot Chili Peppers (best of a poor bunch)

Agree on international band and british band being a poor bunch to choose from!

From what I've heard Funeral for a Friend are worth keeping an eye on. Plus their bass player lives in Reading now.

About the only category I'd even care to make a choice from is best British newcomer, which I'd give to Winnebago Deal. Haven't heard thisGIRL, but they're supposed to incorporate jazz elements into their music so might well be right up my street.

As to the rest of the nominees in all categories (possibly excepting Deftones): :vom:
