What kind of backups do you keep for your own stuff?

I generally make bi-monthly (once every 2 months) backups of my personal data to an external USB HD. With once whenever the fuck I want to mess with it, backups of the same info to CD-R.

Certain personal info also gets kept backed up on my 5 Gig Toshiba PCMCIA HD. (Email, Money info, and passwords mostly)

I use a couple 200gb WD JB's in a Vantec hotswap drive bay, thus they are only in the system when backing stuff up and I alternate btw them incase of failure. Have too much stuff for CD-R. I used to backup weekly, now I'm probably only gonna do it once every couple months as I don't have work stuff on the system that if I lose could be a major headache.

I'm quite poor with backups. I tend to use CD-R's however, I'm planning to get 'at least' a 160gb firewire drive in the near future.

near future = when I get a new motherboard with firewire support

I never back up anything. Ever. Having said that, I don't have anything that I'd be too gutted if I lost (except for a few arty things). I'm also supposedly saving up for an iPod so I don't lose my 6 gig's of Mp3's should anything happen to my little iMac.

Occasional backups of website stuff onto CD, mostly nothing. Nothing on my PC that I'd care about losing.

Every now and again to the laptop over the network. No clear schedule.

I move a few KBs of stuff over to the school network every so often (when I have something worth backing up).

It's not losing the information, it's having to go back and reinstall everything that would be a pain in the ass now. Before it was losing info, now it's having to reinstall everything.
