Given that I haven't done this in awhile (meaning ever), I present to you two new games that you can play while waiting for threads to load. The best part is that they're completely free. [size=1]The worst part is that they are as boring as chasity.[size]

1. Thread Hammer: Very easy to play. Easier if you have a mouse wheel. While you wait for the thread to load. You can scroll down then up then down again as if your hammering away at it trying to get at the gold inside. Whoo! Don't over exert yourself. Best for really slow loaders.

2. Thread Racing. Think your faster than a computer. Put yourself to the test. As the thread loads scroll down to the bottom. If you can reach the bottom before the thread finishes loading, then you win. Yippee! Best for all threads, except really slow loaders where it just isn't funny anymore.

Enjoy!

:)

I was inadvertantly playing both these yesterday on my dialup connection at home. I think I got a highscore on one thread!

If, like me, you load different threads at the same time, you can also place bets on which will load first.

Yesterday I was having a go at Thread Racing, for som reason it was displaying each post, one at a time. I think I managed to get to the bottom of the page no less than a dozen times as each new post appeared.

Each post is in a separate table, it's always done that.

Well, yes, else how would you explain the vaiable sized left column? :)

Thing is, though, that even on 56k you get blocks of them appear, rather than one at a time. Normally, I might add.
