Despite having possibly the worst sleeve art since Steely Dan's The Royal Scam, the Mars Volta album 'De-loused in the Comatorium'_is really really fucking good. So good this monkey actually spent his last 10 in the whole wide world on it without regret.

It looks like this: *puke*

It's available from many different "shops". Buy it now, or fear the wrath of the monkey. RAAHH!

Sweet. I'll get it asap.

It's awesome. Better than the last two AtDI albums and they were two of my all time favourite albums.

I really wish ATDI stayed together. Mars Volta is too weird and Sparta seems like its missing something.

I kind of thought that too, but after a few listens the Mars Volta album doesn't seem so weird, and after about 4 listens turns out to be amazing.

I'm glad AtDI didn't stay together and have a chance to get shit.

Sparta is missing the craziness that's now in The Mars Volta. I never really thought it sounded weird though, it just sounds right.

"The Apparatus Must Be Unearthed" intro = The Cooper Temple Clause?

Another vote for the album here. I didn’t think it sounded weird on first listen, but I wasn’t totally convinced. It has me now, though.

Maybe I'll give it a shot, I've only heard the worthless Amazon.com bits.

And I never thought of the breakup as a good thing until I thought of what would happen once they got mainstream.

You won't regret it.

I just bought the album the other day and I've got to say that's its really fucking good. Amazon.com lied to me with their shitty sound quality those bastards.

I bought this about a month ago and have only just got round to giving it a proper listen or two.

They were spectacular at Reading (after my Darkness rant, here's my rant about a cool 'arty' band. ;) ) 2 songs in a 45 minute set. Highlight of Saturday. Second best band of the Festival after Metallica.
