AKA. THPS Junior. Run up and down a halfpipe and try to do as many interesting and varied tricks as possible before time runs out. Loadsa fun, some well advanced trick combos possible with the relatively simple control setup. Can you do a triple trick involving a backflip?

That's cool. Managed about 6000 so far.

6000? I don't think I've ever done less than 10000 in one round! Take a high-flex board, press left, righ, left at a medium pace, and the resultant 3-trick combo should get you 3000 the first time. If you can time it right doing a backflip+Front 720 (constantly holding left and up) should get you around 5k points.

Still, my highest score (I haven't played it much) I achieved purely through doing a combo of two of the hold/spin moves on each end. These naturally need to be varied a bit to prevent score reduction.

So maybe it might help if I actually read the instructions...

20620 is my best. I can never land backflips.

Takes a bit of practice.

FGOTW Lesson #3214: Post the essential instructions in the original news post. Right.

Er, this is what it would have said: "Rhythmically press down in the curved portions of the halfpipe to gain speed, then use a combination of the left key (for spins), the up key (for the massively difficult backflip) and the right, z, x, and c keys for various stances."

I just held down on the ramps going up or down, got loads of speed. Managed about 7000 so far. Landed a backflip. :D

You'll get much more speed if you do the corners. Trust me. Doing it up the ramps will slow you down. See instructions for more info.

K_G, try this: build up speed by pressing down just as the ramp starts and holding it briefly. Once you fly high enough, press c once. You've now done a "method".

If you hold down up the ramps it definitely seems to speed you up.

Look, just try the corners, okay?

I think that's pretty much what I do really.

It definitely launches you higher if you hold it down all the way up the ramp.

Actually, trying that, it does. Except you can't do any tricks with the button held down.

You should probably let it go as you hit the top of the ramp. :D
