Aside from it's terribly unfortunate name, and the fact that there are some annoying cutscenes that occur often and cannot be skipped, this game is brilliant.

It oozes with style. I was put off by the cell-shading at first, but in motion it's beautiful.

Is it sponsered by Heinz Baked Beans?

Zelda's the Nintendo fantasy adventure rpg type series. This is the first Gamecube incarnation I think.

I also got OOT and OOT:MasterQuest for Gamecube with it (that bonus disc).

If only I had the time, if only! :(

I've never heard of 00T is it a prequel to W00T?

I should also point out (in a really smug, annoying tone) that I was never put off by the cell shading.

Because Asher thinks that graphics maketh the game. He would hate CM.

And CM, come to think of it.

But even so, I thought it looked really cool. Maybe because I downloaded a video clip rather than looking at screenshots.

I think I will trade in Sunshine and SMB for this.

No, I do not.
If I thought graphics make the game, why would I play MUDs and MUSHes and Space Empires?

Twat.

I dislike both CMs, not because they look bad, but because I would prefer watching paint dry.

Sunshine and Metroid Prime were both rather crap in my not-so-humble opinion, the reason they sold "well" and got high reviews is the pedigree.

Zelda earns the reviews it gets. That's the difference.

Because:
1) I hate anime
2) The only cartoons I watch are comedies

So I'm naturally a bit put off by having them turn Zelda into a cell-shaded game that's very reminiscent of anime. It looks fine in motion, it still looks like crap in screenshots.

:bounce:. I really shouldn’t do this, but I know I will get a response.

Asher i remember you rating sunshine at 8/10, not that you don't have the right to change your mind, but what's one knee jerk reaction to a game over another?

as for 'i hate anime', what has that got to do with the graphical style of a game series you like? Did you really think the graphics would affect the gameplay? Anyway, saying i hate anime is like saying i hate cinema, a pointless sweeping generalisation that just sounds like an untested prejudice.

I rated it lower as the gameplay got more stale.
Nostalgia is what it had going for it.

I never said that, I just said I was a bit put off by the graphics at first. And I was. I still tried it, since it's Zelda, it's bound to be good gameplay. :)

I hate anime because I can't stand watching it. I can't really explain it, it's just...blah. Cutesy, ridiculous, and lame to me.

Off-topic, but Miyazaki is a genius. I highly recommend his films.

Also, I agree about Sunshine. It just got stale, and that bastard surfing level where you had to jump onto the pier to get the Shine…grr!

No. I prefer to use www.counterglow.com as it works really well as a search engine and one of the little elves will write me a nice synopsis.:)

I was seriously waiting for a spoof thread with that title.

It was obvious enough.
