You don't have a car don't you Funk? Perhaps this is your equivalent of 'penis extension' ;)

His actual penis extension is his "penis extension", but I suppose he can keep it on top of the amp when it's not in use.

I have so far set up my first 5 tones.

1. Full on heavy - for those familiar with the Yamaha it's a copy of patch 30 shaped a bit to suit my guitar sound a bit more. Main sound for most songs.

2. Spacey delayey clean sound for carpet burns intro - always using the clean 2 amp 'cause it sounds a lot prettier than the other one.

3. Normal clean sound, a bit brighter that the last one but with a touch of chorus to round it out.

4. Clean sound from 2 but with tremelo for the quiet bit of Magic Helmet.

5. Dirty heavy sound - for magic helmet. Same EQ settings as 1 (roughly) but with the Lead 1 amp which sounds a bit more nasty.

Also I've been using the plate reverb for distorted and the spring reverb for the clean tracks. The Hall reverb I didn't like very much.

It will be interesting to compare sounds with Nill's amp set up.

Funkodrom

Yes, although his guitar generally sounds very different to mine through the same equipment.

It would be good to get a similar sound. Maybe a bit harder sounding than Nill's. It will sound quite different at 7 too. Have you configured the input gain?

Funkodrom

Yes, I can have the trim up to 10 without it redlining.
