Just listening to my tracks and thinking that they’re pretty obviously me.

protein

I voted for myself.

Debaser

Protein and Funkodrom should guess one of mine, but then there's no accounting for stupidity.

I expect to be the least predictable...

Funkodrom
11-03-2003, 16:45:03
You think you can guess mine?

I’m really tempted to listen to your CD now .

Resource Consumer

I doubt if anyone will get any of mine...

Hard to say considering I knew whose song everything was last time, and had lo listen to them beforehand to make the compilation fit together ok.

Iain should be pretty straightforward though, unless we have more than one Pop Punk man.

Funkodrom
11-03-2003, 17:06:48
Last time we had 3 and they are all in again this time.

Scabrous Birdseed

I've learnt to tell the (subtle) difference between Rich's and Iain's music. Rich has promised he'll include a track I won't recognise as his, so I didn't vote for him...

How does one get access to this LWP business????

I have decided to do that by numbers, so I don’t know for sure whose tracks are whose.

Scabrous Birdseed

One signs up, months in advance!

Failing that, I'm sure Mike can burn you a copy, you can even do the review bit if you like.

But you are making sure that, say, you don't get two of RCs tracks in a row?

Sean
11-03-2003, 17:43:45
And if Higgsy doesn’t show signs of life you can even submit some tracks!

Yes, because I will name the tracks 1.1.wav and so on. The first number is a perosn, the second is a track. Then I’ll save the playlist.

Scabrous Birdseed
11-03-2003, 17:46:22
What are you gonna do when the compilation phase gets started?

Sean
11-03-2003, 17:48:47
After ensuring there are no duplicate tracks, get people to tell the reviewer which track is theirs. I will, when generating the numbers <-> people mappings, save the list in an encrypted file.

Scabrous Birdseed
11-03-2003, 17:51:10
Actually, come to think of it, if we just ask people to clearly indicate which tracks are theirs when sending their reviews in to the compiler, you yourself need never really know.

Provost Harrison

LOL, I have forgotten which tracks I put on. Iain's are always distinctive though, and most of Johan's...

Great idea!

The Shaker

That assumes that we are all able to remember what we put on.

Sean

I will have the encrypted log file now I’ve written the script to convert the names to numbers.

BigGameHunter

Laz's will all be squeaking and grunting.

Funkodrom
12-03-2003, 09:12:14
Nills if you want to join in this round as a reviewer I'll get you a copy of the CDs.

Nills Lagerbaak
12-03-2003, 09:44:09
Yes please. What do I have to do review them all, then do I get to submit some songs. How do they end up on CD?
How come I am talking to people on a screen??

Funkodrom
12-03-2003, 09:47:09
What happens is when a new LWP is announced everyone says they wants to be involved. We get a certain amount of people into it and then split 2 CDs worth of time between them. This time it was 12:38 each. Then we all send the CDs out to someone, they put them all together in a compilation and send them back. Then everyone listens to the songs and reviews them. Normally in small batches at a time. A review compiler then puts it all together.

You are bored.

Resource Consumer
12-03-2003, 10:18:29
Well nobody thinks they will recognise mine or Higgsy's and that is presumably because Higgsy hasn't sent any in. I am flattered...

Funkodrom
12-03-2003, 10:21:51
No, that's because you were too stupid to vote for yourself. :D

King_Ghidra
12-03-2003, 10:37:52
but who voted for me?

or did you sneakily listen to my disc funko you asshole?

Funkodrom
12-03-2003, 10:47:31
I haven't listened to anyones disk although I do know all protein's tunes because they were all labeled.

Resource Consumer
12-03-2003, 11:33:32
I voted for FUnko:D

Funkodrom
12-03-2003, 11:51:23
I can only remember 3 of my songs... I don't think you'd associate any of them with me though. Try and guess in your reviews anyway, it's part of the fun.

Resource Consumer
12-03-2003, 11:54:42
I shall just guess all of them are yours and be as correct as a stopped clock

Funkodrom
12-03-2003, 12:03:57
Actually, you'll be right. They are all mine. :D

Debaser
12-03-2003, 12:36:11
I think trying to guess should be compulsory.

Scabrous Birdseed
12-03-2003, 12:38:51
That'd be hilarious. Maybe as a separate line:

*End is Forever*: Blah Blah Blah
Guess: Funkodrom's

Funkodrom
12-03-2003, 12:49:08
Excellent! I vote for that.

*End Is Forever*
12-03-2003, 16:18:45
Hopefully mine this time will be a little more distinctive. At least one of them will be blatantly obvious though...

*End Is Forever*
12-03-2003, 16:19:14
Yeah, nice idea Johan, I'll vote for that too.

BigGameHunter

I'd like to be involved in the next installment. I've already told Laz my address for review purposes.

Provost Harrison
12-03-2003, 21:37:46
Yeah, I think the guess aspect is a good idea...
