As of, hopefully, later this week Funko and Nills will both have the same amplificators.

What happened to your JCM3000 dream? That looked really nice. What kind of cab are you going to get?

Nobody wants to buy a Fender twin?

They're my favourite amps. I'd like to, but I probably don't have enough money. How much?

The Mode 4 is too big, impractical and expensive. It'd also be too loud for smallish venues...

I've got the same head as Nills, a midi footswitch and 4*12 for about 750 including delivery etc. Plus it's got all the effects you could ever need built in and they sound really good.

Congratulations funko. I can personally say that this amp is fuck loads better than any digital amp I have ever played, and a lot better than quite a few valve amps.

But then you don't need me to tell you that.......

What kind of amp is it, exactly?

Except the head was 299 instead of 750

OK the Marshall 1960B was on 2-4 weeks back order but the 1960A is in on Friday so I'm getting one of those instead. Same price, same number of speakers, just an angled cab instead of square.

I would have a lot of trouble buying something with a Yamaha label on it. Does it have built in attenuation? cos 130W is a lot for small venues. My 60W Fender hardly got it's valves warm most gigs.

They sound great despite all the things you might think are bad about them.

A couple months ago I picked up a Marshall MG30DFX, which was way better than what I had before.

I'll try to find a pic...

Not nearly as powerful as Funkos but I don't do gigs or anything. :D Gets the job done.

Absolutely. That's a perfectly decent amp for home practice.

I used to have a killer Marshall. It sounded like a stack and was very, very big sounding due to it's stereo effects.

8240 - 40x40 Watt, 2x12 Stereo Chorus Combo. ECC83 pre-amp valve in its Boost channel. It also features Contour, footswitchable Reverb, an Effects Loop plus a Clean/Crunch switch on the Normal channel and an OD1/0D2 option on the Boost. Stereo Chorus and Reverb for a truly panoramic spread. The 8240 also features stereo Line Out jacks and a stereo, parallel Effects Loop (mono Send, left & right Returns) complete with a Loop Level switch (-20dB or 0dB).
