In paperback. I'm not gonna buy it though, I hear it's shit. Are there any authors with the surname "Douglas"?

Kirk Douglas put his name to an autobiography I think.

Time for a copycad thread like that then. We need a ring, I think- once it comes back to "Jordan" someoneorother, it will RAA.

Try Sarah Douglas, fairly prolific, I can count ten of her novels on my bookshelf.

Umm, could you tell us what the name of the book you're referring to is please? That might help us know what to avoid.

It's a copycat thread. It doesn't need real content.

'The Salmon of Doubt'. It's a collection of his essays and as much of the work-in-progress called 'The Salmon of Doubt' as they could recover in a coherent form from his hard disk. It's interesting, but primarily because it gives some idea of the impact of Douglas Adams on the people around him. Otherwise - if you're looking for a 'story' - you're out of luck. Probably only suitable for Douglas Adams completists.

Maybe someone will complete the story. That often happens when an author dies with an incomplete work - quite often by the widow. But I don't think Douglas Adams was married was he?
