Sonic Undermind.

The King's Head promoter's description of us on the posters and flyers in the venue. Sounds great. Wish I'd thought of it.

I have no idea what it is, I just think it sounds great.

I think Millenium Rock was a sweet round bar of coloured sugar produced in Brighton in the year 2000.

Thankyou for that. I'm now going to spend the rest of the day wishing I'd brought my Dr Octagon CD into work with me. :bash:

That is a great album.

Right, I should fill in what happened yesterday I guess. Went to the King's Head, amazing venue still. Sound is great, and on stage as well apparently. They have a video camera and videoed the gigs yesterday.

Was a bit of a disaster for LSB, they needed 30 people to come to get paid. Everyone dropped out at the last minute. I gave some flyers out but no-one really seemed interested and there weren't many people there anyway.

I talked to the promoter at the end of the night. Gave him a CD but he wasn't really interested in the CD, he said if you can get 30-50 people here you can have a gig. Didn't especially enthuse me or make me want to go and play for him.

The Catapult Club gigs were really well promoted within the venue itself though. With the posters with all the bands coming up and a stack of flyers with the listings.

Our promoter is bigger. He is giving us a high profile Londin gig on a Saturday just to see if we are as good as our cd. It sounds like he is actually promoting it too.

That's the impression I got. Should be really good. I wonder if we get a video of us playing...

I think I can only bring 4 or 5 people from work. (not including Dan).

Shakey's coming I think. Maybe Debaser. K_G is. P**** said she'd come and Dan and C***** said they would. FunkyFingers is coming, not sure if he's bringing Mrs Funky. Beta1 said he'd come... Nav might be coming. All the people who came from Nills' work to the last gig are coming, as well as the ones who couldn't make it last time.

We should go and drum up more support in the other forum.

We need many more. We need someone to hand out flyers to people as they come in.

That's about 23 by my reckoning if they all come.

Makes you sound like a cross between the Scorpions and Transvision Vamp.
