The new songs are up. YAY! if you have already downloaded them from Loudmedicine.net there are lyrics etc here.

You should make an advert like those on TV for really poor compilation 40,000 cd box sets.

22-01-2002, 12:36:10
That's a great idea!

You can download the songs without the lyrics?

22-01-2002, 14:19:43
No, they have the lyrics written down.

Vincent Fandango
22-01-2002, 14:23:49
Who did that for you?

22-01-2002, 14:24:19
A monkey.

We're not that desperate.

You could hide him in the audience and shout: (Gene Simmons voice) "You think we're BAAAAAAAAAD? Lok at HIIIIIIIIIIMMMMM!)

22-01-2002, 14:36:50
We were thinking of getting someone to dress up in a scary costume to be our mascot... we could get him to do it, and we wouldn't need a costume.

Vincent Fandango
22-01-2002, 15:17:27
Maybe it's better to disguise him as human being

22-01-2002, 15:33:44
We don't have that kind of money to spend.

Vincent Fandango
22-01-2002, 15:38:39
I see. And it would probably look like :bounce:

22-01-2002, 16:04:55
Wow the instrumental at the end of Magic Helmet sounds really nice. Pity there is so much bass in the recording though.

22-01-2002, 16:08:13

I love Rock Cliche

Sorta reminds me of NOFX - Song for the radio but a rock version.

22-01-2002, 16:15:47
Yeah, Magic Helmet is a bit low and quiet all round. It sounds better on the CD and when we play it live I think.

We really need to get a recording of Mighty Ogun, that's my favourite song.

Glad you like Rock Cliche, that's a great song to play.

And... featuring Goat Lord's cousin on guitar

I'll add the links to the LM site asap

Listened to Alien, and I really, really like it! It improves like ten fold on all your other songs. It sounds so well put together.

18-02-2002, 00:50:32
Goblin Girl - Nice rythym, good guitar work.. horrible vocals [in my opinion]

18-02-2002, 00:52:17
Fucking hell that guitar solo on Coco the clown is impressive!

I'll upload the files again in a few minutes, the links Mike posted above will not longer work after that!!!

I'll post the new links here. I'll rename and relocate the files.

Yep. Shame we don't have Goat Lord's cousin in the band.

VF: I edited my links above.

A fucking alien!!!
God, I love that song. Who wrote the lyrics?

18-02-2002, 16:04:50
That's another of the drummer's songs. I like it too.

Not sure if/when we'll get that rehearsed as a full band. We have a couple of other new songs we need to get sorted and at the moment we're concentrating on getting the songs for our live stuff sorted.

"Goblin Girl". Is this about what I think it is?

18-02-2002, 16:33:41
No. :D

18-02-2002, 16:39:15
ps. We are trying to arrange a gig in Reading for late March or, more likely, early April.

19-02-2002, 09:59:15
Mike, what happened to mighty ogun? The recording isn't brilliant, but i have been listening to this most of all at home out of the tracks on the cd you gave us. It's got such great energy. Mystic 4 sounds good too. Ok the levels and stuff are ropey, but at least they are real Unholy songs.

19-02-2002, 10:07:46
Yeah, I'll probably upload that one when I get home. I've listened to them a bit more now. Mystic 4 has too many cock ups in it to be broadcast I think.

19-02-2002, 10:08:40
It's definitely my favourite song and I think it's LSB's new favourite Unholy song too.

19-02-2002, 18:36:10
Mighty Ogun is now up. http://www.loudmedicine.net/ogun.mp3

19-02-2002, 18:47:12
Mighty Ogun is now being dowloaded... ;)

19-02-2002, 18:51:48
Cool. It's my favourite Unholy song but this is a bit of a crappy recording of it I'm afraid. It is actually the whole band playing this time though. :)

19-02-2002, 18:53:56
Let me know what you think...

19-02-2002, 19:03:34
Yes, the quality is not exceptional but I like it.
Great bass, and as KG said it's pure energy, a little gem.

Those laughters in the end are cool, show the insanity of the band, should be great to see you playing this song on the stage.

19-02-2002, 19:08:18
It's the best fun song to play that we have, even though I don't have to play for half the song and when I do it's always the same thing. KG is normally bouncing around like a maniac during the chorus.

In case you were wondering I think King_G is swearing at me at the beginning because I hit him on side of the head with the end of my guitar. :)

I can't actually remember why we were laughing at the end. I think showing our insanities is a good thing though.

Cool song, I like it very much.
Put it up to mp3.com and I'll add it to the Planet X radio station.

19-02-2002, 23:42:44
I want to get a better recording before I do that I think.
