Noisy Bar Room + Low-Quality setting on the dictaphone + talking over music = bad plan.

I am Kloot's "Untitled #1" practically invites the "Heroin or LSD?" debate.

3 Doors Down are the most boring AshOR barnd ever. Seriously. Offensively bad.

The BBC standards must be slipping if they're ever allowing "Jerk it Out" by Ceasar's Palace (Or "Ceasars" as they're known here for some reason) on the airwaves. Way more graphic than "Relax".

OK Go's "Get over It" was the best single of the night. Half the people hated it though. The only one we could all agree was good was "Sometimes I think about" by Corrigan, very interesting Death Metal Bass Rock Harmony Build-Up Mellow stuff. Although one guy who interupted us while we were listening (Iain: Chris Jones) thought it was shit.

The new Blur single has serious "Mr. Tambourine Man" vibes.

Zwan's alt. country cover of "Number of the Beast" is my officila cool cover of the week. Zwan are surprisingly good, though everyone else disagreed.

Hmm, I'm guessing Zwan's alt. country cover of "Number of the Beast" is a B-side to Honestly. I might have to actually buy that.

Heroin or LSD? The effects of which are practically the opposite of each other.

It's Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins) new band but one of the guys from Slint is also in it.

Zwan is Billy Corgan's new band. They're pretty good.

I know. That's the disturbing thing. It moves randomly from folky, whimsical psychedelic rambling to Lou Reed pastiche. Any drug you know?

well i've found that very strong e's can have that effect, being on the one hand visual and almost trip like, and on the other so anodyne i just want to sit down and drift away

Sure. We could write the 'Fear & Loathing the Musical' we've been discussing.

Good plan.

I tried writing some Necrofury tunes, the goal being to write some music that was so extreme it was unlistenable. Unfortunately, I couldn't listen to it anymore, it was driving me crazy, and I had to delete it.

Hmm. I'm assuming AshOR has something to do with me? Asher oriented?

If so, you're right on the money...own their albums and love them. :D

I'm completely amazed at your inability to like any song I like, Snapcase. :)

The Better Life is still their best CD by far... Kryptonite, Loser, Duck and Run, Be Like That, By My Side, So I Need You...so many great songs.
