I wish it was playing somewhere near me. I've been hearing really good things about it.

We saw it on the weekend (some kind of "property of MGM" video) it was very good, but very weird. Also incredibly slow paced.

Bruce Campbell is unbelievably sampleable.

Never heard of it. Judging by the poster and stuff, I would hazard a guess at it being about Elvis and Egyptians and stuff. Looks pretty check outable though.

Looks like the SE DVD is out today in the US, no idea if it'll get a UK release.

it means he says cool things like 'listen up you primitives, this here's my boom stick!'

Yeah, that you can sample and make into cool tunes.

eg. Come and get it, you undead sack of shit.

And Bubba Ho-Tep replies in heiroglyphics which are then subtitled

Eat the dog dick of Anubis, you asswipe.

The slow pacedness sounds worse in my post than it was. It was a very odd film indeed. Shot very much in a b-movie style.

Plus they are all done in a Bruce Campbell impersonating Elvis voice.

I think it might be a film that gets funnier the more you see it. Like Evil Dead II or Spinal Tap.

I saw a commercial for the DVD just last night. I ran out to buy it, but unfortunately they do not take Monopoly money at Best Buy.

I saw it yesterday. Very good, very very weird and funny. The acting was superb!
Bruce Campbell and Ozzie Davis made a hilarious team.

And yes it will get funnier the more its seen.
