I'm no expert, but that looks pretty fuckin' tasty to me.

Nills Lagerbaak

Doesn't it just....and the discount! 760 down to 300. You can't say fairer than that

Debaser
04-02-2003, 13:34:51
Have you checked that it actually was 760 elsewhere? I suspect that is the RRP, but it usually retails for about 500. Still, good deal though.

Nills Lagerbaak
04-02-2003, 13:39:24
You're right that was the RRP. It's only places that don't usually stock it that charge the full whack (one place thought he was doing me a dal by flogging it for 719)

"If you like it loud, the DG130H is perfect for concert arenas and large venues."

Nice :)

I think I'm going to save up and get myself one of these bad boys:

Good lord! How much does that beast cost?

Funkodrom
04-02-2003, 14:51:40
Head is 599, a 4*12 that can handle it is 400.

Funkodrom

With all this good equipment people will start thinking we're shit.

2000 EUR.
Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurgh!

Funkodrom
04-02-2003, 15:03:17
That looks great but it's unbelievably expensive!

Still, I just requested a catalogue from their UK distributors. :D

Vincent

I got a H&K combo, Tube 60. Great device, and it was a lot cheaper here than most others. Biggest rip off is Vox here

Vincent
04-02-2003, 15:10:32
Or Tube 50? Yes!

Funkodrom

That Mode 4 isn't actually out yet but looks like a bit of a bargain when it does come out. It's one of those Marshall Valvestates that they seem to be getting good at. Has 2 completely seperate amps not just 2 EQs for the different sounds you are going for and is priced even cheaper than their Dual Super Leads.

I'm going to have to ask Kingfisher if they are going to get any in so I can try one out.

Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!

That has got to be the most overdesigned thing I've ever laid eyes on. Still, if it sounds anywhere near as amazing as it looks it must be pretty good.

The reviews of it are awesome.

Well done Nills!

Nills Lagerbaak
04-02-2003, 16:17:28
Yeah groovy! We really should start:

"The official Nills GOT an amp thread"!!!

Now all I need is a midi-footyswitch. I know Matt had an old one for his keyboard

Funkodrom

Coolio

Hmm, this development really fucks up half the rocumentary.

Funkodrom

Nah, it's still funny. :D

It's funny because he bought an amp and has no way of controlling it. Still, it is Nills after all, things couldn't go smoothly. We can always employ somebody to press buttons on the amp until he gets the MFC10 controller. Which might just be never knowing Nills.

Funkodrom

In another 10 years!

To be fair to him, we only found out about the controller after he ordered it and it wasn't obvious.

protein
04-02-2003, 19:03:25
I guess he can order it from the same people tomorrow and get it delivered with the head. It is up to him though.

Probably all the knobs go from 1 to 11 as well.

It's beautiful. I am drawn to it like a moth to a lightbulb.

Are these rumours true that Mr Fandango is going to go all the way to London, England to see (and get drunk with) Sonic Undermind when they are first on the bill at a tiny pub?

If so, if the Undermind get famous then he can say "I remember the day that I went all the way to London, England to see (and get drunk with) Sonic Undermind when they were first on the bill at a tiny pub"

Did you play it? The only price I've seen for it here is 1799!!! but the reviews all say it sounds amazing.

Yes this is a problem. There's no way I can afford 200 for a foot switch!! But the thing is it is a standard midi controller, just with feck loads of extras. If I could just get a simple three chanels push switches (like the line six at the practice) that would be cool!!

So any CG 'ers got a cheap midi foot switch I can buy?

The MF-1 is 145Euros, that's the cheapest one I've seen and has 8 switches, 13 banks and 128 settings which is the same as the Yamaha I think.

"The loudest amplifier Marshall have ever made"

eleven and a half?

Funkodrom
06-02-2003, 14:59:16
It's 350 watts.

Has 2 seperate amplifiers, not just 2 seperate channels.

Valve preamp distortion and digital FX like the AVT-150H Nills played.

protein
06-02-2003, 15:00:48
oh my god

is there anyway you could get it?

Funkodrom

It hasn't been released yet I don't think but I'm going to find one and try it out when it has.
