LW9 - Songs of Innocence, part 2
This is the rest of the stuff people submitted for LWP9: Songs of Innocence. Enjoy!

Funko: I'm going to be quite brief about these bonus tracks... This one is Kiss Me by Sixpence None the Richer. I don't really like it too much, but it's one of those songs I associate with being on the radio during sunny days hanging out drinking beer at university therefore not all bad.
Lazarus and the Gimp: FAST FORWARD! FAST FORWARD!
Sixpence none the richer. All over the radio like scabies a few years ago, and now gracing LWP 9 like a nasty weeping rash. Vile.
Mad Squirrel: How twee. Seriously though... it's okay.
Scabrous Birdseed: It's practically impossible to review this and I suspect whoever submitted it knows it. I've been trying to figure out what I actually would have thought of the song had I not heard it a million times on the radio, but if you're not going to work within the spirit of the compilation I sure as heck won't.
BigGameHunter: I'm guessing Laz's daughter picked this one and likes it a lot. Children seem to like the upbeat, cheery and light. What's their problem? Don't they understand that life is a long treacherous trial that knows know relief? Don't they know that cool people don't like the unabashedly happy and joyful? Shame on her.
DevilMunchkin: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Who submitted this?! I'll kiss you...here let me introduce you to a pit bull.
IW sez: This is indeed Sixpence None the Richer, and it's one of a handful of their tracks I own. I can't say i think it's amazing, but it's quite cute and catchy and seemed to fit the theme well (unlike almost every other track I own).
Shame on all of you for listening to the radio. This is a lovely expression of a Cider with Rosie childhood, only without the suicides and drunkeness and rapes.
