Free Game of the Week - Avoider

Second one in a row, I might start doing this again now.

Avoid the little orange man and the objects he throws at you, but don't leave the blue area or you'll lose all your points!

Brilliant graphic design and a challenging game all in one. I can't get past the head of god myself.

The Revolution has been named
Games: Posted: 27/4/06 19:23 Author: Venom Comments: 20 Comments

And it is gay.

News from Nintendo today on their next generation console that we all know as the Revolution. Apparently, they don't like that name and have decided to brand it as......Wii. That's no typo. That's what is going to be on the shelves in the near future. Wii.

Don't believe me. Check it out.

Free Game of the Week - Bugs!
Games: Posted: 1/1/06 17:06 Author: Scabrous Birdseed Comments: 4 Comments

I, er, stopped posting these. You might have noticed. Sorry. My computer has become too crap to play most of today's flash games decently and I can't post titles I'm unable to enjoy.

Anyway, back when I was doing this more regularly I used to always have a look at games in The Orisinal Collection, but I don't think I ever posted one 'cause the game concepts were always tired and never matched the visual presentation. This one is both brilliant and original, though, with a good mix of reflexes, perception and strategy.

Free Game of the Week - N
Games: Posted: 5/12/05 07:30 Author: Sir Penguin Comments: 4 Comments

I can't remember if this has been posted before, but if it has, it's worth repeating. Oh man, this game is badass. It's a simple collect-the-coins-and-escape-the-level game. You control an elite ninja character, who must complete sets of 5 levels in "90 seconds". Each golden coin you get adds 2 seconds to the ninja's lifespan. There are 30 episodes of 5 levels each in the online game, and 100 episodes of 5 levels each in the free download. The download version also has a level editor.

I'm going to play this all the way home on the bus this winter, or at least until my laptop batteries run out.

Free Game of the Week - Grow Cube
Games: Posted: 28/9/05 13:33 Author: Nav Comments: 27 Comments

Attempt to grow the cube as much as you can be selecting the different objects in the game. So far I've only managed to get 3 to max. Very addictive!
